honoring my muses
creative expression is a reciprocal relationship
a process of co-creation with the natural world
with the spirits of place

with the waters that meander and flow
over mountains and valleys
the moist earth that sustains this body
the evening breeze that caresses my skin
the blanket of stars that tucks me into bed every night
the rays of sunlight that wake me
from the world of dreams

together we bring into being that which exists only in the ether
our artistic expressions are prayers
that the lands of the earth may be returned
to the hands of those who know how to love them
that the waters may flow from source to sea
that sacred seeds may be passed down through generations
bringing abundance and fertility to our communities

i create from the land and create for the land

in addition to the spirits of place that accompany me through this journey of creation, i would like to give thanks to my mother, my father, my sister, my partner and the Three Sisters Arts Collective for being my foundation, my root system that allows me to grow and flourish in my artistic expressions.
i offer my deep gratitude to the following humans who have provided me with profound inspiration, wisdom and guidance in navigating the ebbs and flows of my intuitive knowing and creative cycles:
