amalia (she/they) is a multimedia artist, jeweler, musician, student of herbal medicine, land tender and apprentice to the world of enchantments who believes that creation is a spiritual journey. through each creative expression, amalia transmits a prayer of healing, resilience, resistance and unity. each creative expression embodies the practice of radical imagination, calling in a future where all beings inhabiting this earth may thrive, free from structures of domination and separation. with each expression, amalia answers a call to cultivate deep ancestral connection, with spirits of land and sea, seeds and springs. inspired by the dance of celestial bodies across the night sky and guided by the ancestral wisdom held in her hands, amalia's creations are an offering in honor of life. amalia currently resides in Tupinambá territory in southern Bahia, Brazil and is humbly engaged in the inquiry and evolving practice of what it means to inhabit lands with reverence, reciprocity and a focus on historical reparations.
